Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, the creator and sustainer of all things, perfect in love and righteousness, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God has revealed Himself to man through His creation, through His redemptive words and acts in history, and supremely in Jesus Christ, who is made known to us by the Holy Spirit through the Scriptures.

We believe the Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the divinely inspired written word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice.

We believe that man was created in God’s image enjoying perfect fellowship with Him, but he rebelled against God. As the result of this rebellion he incurred physical and spiritual death, and became subject to God’s wrath. Man’s only hope for salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is accomplished by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, truly God and truly man, the only mediator between God and man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He fully shared our humanity in a life of perfect obedience, died on the cross as the atonement for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into heaven, where at God’s right hand he intercedes for all who believe in Him, and rules as Lord over all.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. By His indwelling power and fullness we grow in the knowledge of our Lord, are assured of our Father’s love, and are enabled to live the abundant life as His witnesses in this world. The Holy Spirit creates the church, nourishes its fellowship, and unites as one all true believers in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the imminent bodily return of Jesus Christ to raise the dead, judge all men, and consummate the establishment of His kingdom. The wicked will be condemned to everlasting punishment and the righteous will live and reign with Him forever in glorified bodies over the new creation – the full manifestation of the glory of God.
